We’re always looking for quality content related to music creation and licensing, or any related fields that will help creators of all sizes benefit in their endeavours. If your article is accepted and published, you could be rewarded with a year’s free Basic Membership to the IMLC Library.

What kind of content should I submit?

We are particularly looking for work with strong technical knowledge in a relevant field that provides significant informational benefit to our audience. The IMLC is an authority on independent royalty free music licensing and will be particularly focused on content that supports that position.

Check out some of our existing content to get a sense of our niche.

We prefer to accept content that is completely new and not published elsewhere, however in some special instances we may be willing to discuss reposted previously published content. You must be own the copyright of the piece (i.e. be the only and real author) and make sure that it is structured and formatted in a way that makes it easily readable.

How can I submit?

Article submissions should be pasted into the body of an email and sent to contact@imlcollective.uk (please note, we will not open any unsolicited email attachments, so please do not send them). The email subject should read: IMLC Blog Submission

We will read your article as soon at is received, and once we have read it we will get back to you with an idea of whether it is likely to be considered for publication. The article may need some more work, even if it is to be considered for the site. If our team is happy with the quality of the work at the end of this process, it will be published according to our schedule. Once the article is published, you will be registered for an annual Basic Membership to the IMLC Library.

We reserve the right to refuse any article that we do not deem suitable or high quality enough . As a collective, we value openness and transparency above all else, and as such we welcome communications to contact@imlcollective.uk if you wish to discuss any of the points on this page or to suggest a blog piece subject before beginning to write.
